Walt`s Roast Beef in Pawtucket

Food was gross. Onion rings were huge and batter just fell off in container so you basically were eating almost raw slimy onion. Ham sandwich was beyond salty. And I am a saltaholic so that's saying something.

Walt's is ok. I personally think Miller's is better. I wish Walt's had better fries.

I got a jumbo roast beef sandwich, it was pretty good and very filling. I have been here twice and while the food is good, there is a slight odor when you walk through the main doors. I don't recommend eating at the seats near the front of the store, instead get your order to go.

The food is excellent, the staff were friendly and fast and listened to my order and made it to order. The place was clean and decorated with pictures of local landmarks. If you're tired of burgers and pizza give Walt's a try.

It's was ok. It's the mozzarella cheese sticks that need help. The outside texture is cardboard over cooked. The cheese is something else. Try organic mozzarella cheese sticks. (Textured, real cheesey, yumminess in 1 bite.

A Rhode Island tradition. Love their fish and chips! Nice golden batter, flaky and fresh tasting fish. Yum!

Always a solid but. Never ever have I had a problem at Walt's. Just my taste calls for some more seasoning.

Been going to Walt's for years, but the quality is just not the same lately. Roast beef seems shredded, and I remember it being sliced in the past. Fries were a bit well done this time. Hope this trend doesn't continue.

No frills place, but a real roast beef sandwich. Fish and chips pack the place. Don't know why there aren't more of these places. Have we become too lazy to eat better? Blows away any fast food out there.

We went to dinner on Wednesday at Pawtucket restaurant and was greatly disappointed, the prices went up and size of fish went down by half! Was very unhappy with my meal and will not have Fish and chips ever again! I brought a piece of fish home and its smaller than what we had for dinner Wednesday ! And I ordered onion rings and there was 5 in whole order, 5 really! Anyway won't be returning and sad because they are right around the corner from me! The only thing I can say is the roast beef is ok!

Obviously, this is a great place for roast beef, but, if you're not into that, the other options on the menu are kind of limited. The clam chowder, french fries, and chocolate cake are very good. A female wait staff are always cuties too. 😉

I only go here for the fish and chips on a Friday as they only sell them on Wednesdays and Fridays...... the fish and chips are pretty good here .... haven't had anything else on their menu so couldn't give any opinion on it

It was fine, but the beef was a little dry. As if it had been there awhile. Been many times before and it was good. Maybe an off day, or new cook

Walt's has always been a 5, up to the last month. I get fish & chips every friday. But it has been not very good at all. Last week when i went to get it. I asked, did they change fish or the batter? Even the batter looks different. Girl said no. They changed the oil. And alot of people asking. I said. They should go back, if thats what it is. Fish has a awful taste lately. Almost like frozeb fish. Which I doudt it is. But this week I'm not taking a chance to see. I am finally going to go somewhere else. I i loved walt's for years. B

Great location. Order ahead and have no wait, plus there is fish and chips on Wednesday and Fridays too. The roast beef is always great.

Walt's was a 5 but lately the roast beef has been overcooked and dry . They always had good fish and chips but I got them last week and they were greasy , totally overcooked and dried out. Time for a 3 out of 5

Wanted the brisket sandwich, just seen it on tv. But they didn't have it. Drove from Fall River. Never again. Will go back to Miller's Roast Beef.

Great service, a young lady by the name of Kearstian Toliver at the Pawtucket location on Newport avenue was very respectful and courteous. I will definitely be returning.

I bought the 1/4 pound sandwich (which I don't believe was the biggest available) along with the large fries. Overall I was full when I left but I had room for more and I wished I had bought the bigger size. The meal was good though but just a little pricey at roughly $15 for what I purchased above along with a large soda.

Ok, if you go to Walt's Roast Beef only go to this one. Plus don't get the roast beef. You want a Thanksgiving special. It is one of the best sandwiches you will ever have in your life. It's got fresh lettuce, mayo, cranberry sauce, stuffing and a mound of turkey that is so moist it could be used as a wet wipe.
